Here, at Real Restoration, we believe that we were never made to carry the weight of this world’s pain on our own shoulders. We believe that Jesus invites us to come to him as we are, without needing to earn his love. We believe that Jesus came to show us a different way, the true way.
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6)
Everything we read about Jesus in the Bible paints a clear picture of God coming in the form of man, turning our ways of thinking upside down and inside out. We can only can only find true peace and wholeness when we embrace a love-based relationship with God, others, and even our enemies -- a life with Jesus. We believe that when you see Jesus for who he really is, without the religious baggage, you will find someone worth following, a God who makes our lives worth living.
We can rest assured in faith, knowing that nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ. In Him, tribulations will no longer consume us. And neither death, nor life, nor anything that seems to take a hold on us - things in the past, present or things to come, shall be able to separate us from that infinite and endless love of God, which is found here in the safe confines of His love. It sets us free.
Jesus wasn't interested in creating new religious systems of do's and don'ts; wrongs and rights. We believe that in order to truly see Jesus, grasp His message, and follow Him, we need to reject the lens given to us by religion, and become ones who seek to know God for all that he truly is; a people who open the bible with fresh eyes and hearts that are softened, ready to be continually changed by his grace. We believe that it is only in Jesus Christ, the one who understands the gravity of our pain, that we can receive true transformational healing and restoration from the core; and a new life of abundance.
